Structural Systems RFP
Thanks for your interest in working with us! We’ve had an overwhelming response and have prepared this webpage to give you further information for the Structural Systems.
We are looking to have all content listed below created by April 1.
We are looking to hire between 5-10 people to help with this work, so even if you’re only able to handle a few sections, I encourage you to still apply.
We’ve broken all of the content down so we can hire per section if needs be. Ideally, we’ll be working with a select number of individuals and you’ll be working closely with Eric during this process. All of the content created needs to be original.
We also have a couple of non-disclosure/non compete forms you will need to sign as well.
The level of difficulty is broken down as follows:
• about 500 words with minimal research
•• about 750 – 1000 words with some research
••• about 1000 – 2500 words with deep research
•••• at least 4000 – 5000 words with deep research
What to Expect?
Step 1 – Initial Call with Eric to discuss sections you’ve expressed interest in
Step 2 – You submit outline for each section to Eric for approval
Step 3 – You submit draft to Eric for review and markup
Step 4 – You revise and resubmit (this process could take a couple of times)
This is not an assignment where you disappear for two weeks and then show up with finished product. You will actively be working and submitting to Eric throughout the entire process because we want to make sure you are headed in the right direction.
NOTE: Please familiarize yourself with the NCARB Structural Systems Exam Guide
as our layout is based on that. You can find a more detailed description of the content we need in the NCARB guide.
Notes on Flashcard and Exam Simulator creation – The flashcards will be created from the content that is created, i.e. cut and paste from the material, so this work will be done once a Module is created. The Exam Simulator will also be created from the material as well, so once a Module is done, work on the Exam Simulator questions can begin. This includes creating the question, the correct answer and the incorrect answers as well as creating the feedback.
If after reading all of this, you are still interested, please send email to email@example.com
and BE VERY SPECIFIC on what you would like to do and also your availability to work on this. We are looking for individuals who can begin immediately.
In your email include the following:
1. Sections you are interested in.
2. Timeframe when you can begin.
3. Timeframe when you can complete EACH section.
