The new ARE 5.0 exams: How does 7 exams for the price of 5 sound?!

Version 5.0 of the Architect’s Registration Exam (ARE) is being introduced at the end of 2016. After 20 years in service, the current version (ARE 4.0) will be retired after June 2018. While this is exciting news, it could also upset your carefully planned timeline to studying and passing.

Early on in my journey to become licensed, I had several people ask me “why do you want to be an architect?” For me, the answer was simple – it’s what I’ve always wanted to do. I knew from the time I was about 11 years old that this was my career path, so I did everything I could to make sure I’d see that dream come to fruition.
